WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO START AMBITION:

DARCY: My love for fashion began at the age of 8 when I started modeling. With Ambition the Label, my vision was to create a brand that seamlessly blends timeless elegance with everyday style. I wanted to offer versatile pieces that not only make you feel confident but can also be worn from day to night, styled in countless ways. Above all, I'm committed to promoting slow fashion and crafting high-quality pieces.

WHAT DOES "CONFIDENCE DRESSING" ACTUALLY MEAN TO YOU:

DARCY: To me, confidence dressing isn't just about what you're wearing, it's about how you feel. It's about wearing pieces that feel like you, and that make you feel more put together and confident. When something fits well and feels good, you carry yourself differently — that's the feeling I want every Ambition piece to give someone.

 

 

WHAT WERE YOU DOING BEFORE AMBITION:

DARCY: Before launching Ambition the Label, I gained valuable experience across various industries, including modelling, hospitality, retail, event management, and marketing. While I've explored many roles, modeling and fashion have always been my true passion. I actually model most of our Ambition collections myself, which is incredibly rewarding — designing a collection and then bringing it to life in front of the camera, from start to finish.

 

 

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR PERSONAL STYLE:

DARCY: Minimalistic & effortlessly stylish. I gravitate towards high-quality, comfortable basics that can be styled in a variety of ways. At the same time, I love incorporating a few bold statement pieces into my wardrobe to elevate my outfits and add a bit of flair.

 

 

WHAT'S THE BIGGER MESSAGE YOU WANT WOMEN TO TAKE AWAY FROM AMBITION, BEYOND THE CLOTHES:

DARCY: That confidence is something you can build intentionally — through the small decisions, like what you put on in the morning. Ambition was never just about clothing to me, it's about encouraging women to be themselves and dress for confidence. As women, we're constantly juggling a million things at once, and I wanted to create a community of strong, empowered women — designing pieces that help them feel effortlessly elevated and put together.

 

 

FAVOURITE AMBITION ITEM:

DARCY: Our denim jeans or our black suit for sure, i literally wear them every second day.

 

 

WHY DID YOU BUILD AMBITION AROUND A CAPSULE WARDROBE MODEL RATHER THAN CONSTANT NEW DROPS?:

DARCY: I never wanted Ambition to be about buying more — I wanted it to be about buying better, pieces that will actually last. A capsule wardrobe means every piece earns its place and works with everything else you own. I believe you don't need to spend thousands of dollars to look the part — buy quality pieces you can outfit-repeat and style a million different ways, and no one would even notice.
